real quick, if you havent heard, my little brother jack is going to the coast guard on sunday. we are having a huge huge going away party at our house on friday night. come for dinner, drinks, and to give jack a few words of wisdom...

This is not as random as it seems, I am Oliver Vining's mom and found this way to say hi to you. I have heard a bit about your condition on and off for the past few months and I want you to know that I have often thought of you and sent you my mental wishes for a great progress. The best advice someone gave me before chemo was that the worse I look and feel, the better the treatment is working. I recognized that sentiment in your blog . I hope that your bad days are because you are getting strong effective treatment, and that you can enjoy some good days too and feel like yourself for enough time to remember you'll feel good all the time pretty soon. Chow down on your mom's good food, I bet she loves to make anything for you! Know that there are many people out here sending positive thoughts your way!
